I enjoy branding and illustration and these are areas I’ll like to pursue after I finish my studies, working as a freelance branding designer and illustrator. My favourite university project is the Pantone D&ADassignment which asked me to identify a representative colour scheme for my hometown; I think it is very interesting and fun because I have never before used colours to brand a city. Time management and self-discipline are both things I’ve learnt in my university life, and I intend touse these skills as a responsible designer in the coming years.

Designer is sacred for me. A masterpiece not only shows the creativity and aesthetics, but also an appeal to the people emotions because designers have injected passion and excelsior into their design works. This attitude is the most important thing I have learnt. I wantto become a designer like that. The most favorite and talented area is typography because it is experimental and widely used. I tried to use different materials like wax and plastic to create new types what are fun and experimental. I want to become a graphic designer and use my creativity and passion to affect others.

I enjoy thinking in the concept of the design. I was working in an advertising agency in Madrid. TBWA/MADRID. In 2015 I entered a D&AD contest and I hope to get some awards from this. It’s a futuristic idea that can be a solution for a lot of people. I was in Coventry just one year so I can only say that it has amazing. I guess my classmates have a better opinion of this uni than me. Wherever I fend my self in the future I want to be in a workplace that I am comfortable and in a place that I can live happily.

I am good at digital design, such as web design, app design and hand drawing in design areas, and the best part of design I think is you always can learn something new for every projects. My favourite projects involve photography, and I am developing my interest in media production. I learned a lot in this University although I was final year student. I enjoy in multimedia design and packaging de-sign,because a good packaging can attract customers and can express characteristics of the product. Graphic design I think it is most important in my life. After graduation I will find a Job in other country, because I hope I can get more experience in different place. I take a lot of inspiration from design in the 80s and try to reflect this in my own work, indulging in the neon era. I have developed a certain recognisable style by using Photoshop and Illustrator to create detailed drawings, mainly of faces using bright vibrant colours. In the New Year I plan to move to South Africa for a placement for a year working for a graphic design company in Johannesburg, where I hope to gain the experience I need to not only survive in the design industry but to thrive.

I love the rush of energy as inspiration and ideas start to flow and I can’t wait to bring them to fruition. The vast options of styles and approaches to execute an idea, give me as a graphic designer limitless scope to explore and continually learn as I develop those ideas. My work so far has taken me through different challenges, although my favorite was the V&A project as it gave me a lot of satisfaction creating some exciting photography used for the posters. In five years I hope to see myself as an asset to a graphic design agency and have expanded my creativity and portfolio.

I am enjoying typography. My plan is studying master degree. Learning design in UK is a good choice; it improves my design skill and helps me to broaden my horizons. My favorite Project is 600GD. I chose surrealism as my topic, and I designed a mini web to introduce it. I came out one static poster, moving poster and integrated poster. I learned different kinds of software to show my ideas. As for an international student from China. The most important thing I have learnt is independence. I want to be a graphic or branding designer in 5 years. Designing what I like.
